We will be presenting short videos from a wide range of consumers, producers, retailers and industry representatives letting us know their thoughts. We will also have a panel of select speakers on the night to answer questions in person.

David Martin
David has a background in commercial law and business. He owns Stormflower Vineyard in Margaret River, which has held organic certification since 2016 and produces a range of certified organic wine. David is also co-owner of the Alex Hotel in Perth, Weelhamby Farm in Perenjori and small breweries in Bristol (UK) and Melbourne. He was also a co-founder of Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle and held senior executive positions with Woodside Petroleum Ltd and global law firm Baker & McKenzie. David is Secretary of Certified Organic Biodynamic Western Australia Inc. (COBWA) and Treasurer of Reverse Natural Capital Inc.
David McClelland
David is relatively new to the pursuit of organic principles, a consumer now offering a delivery service in the city for organic meats through www.mobilefarmshop.com.au
His family farmed the lush green grass of Northern Ireland but he claims no practical skills and with a career in business as a Chartered Accountant he is convinced that it is the consumer and market demand that will drive positive change. An interest in health and wellness is his primary motivation and he is becoming more passionate about the carbon capture in deep rich soils that grow deeper every season with organic farming.
Barry Green
Barry Green is the owner of Western Tourist Radio broadcasting on 87.6 FM in East Perth
and the coastal towns in the South West of WA, and Chair of Donnybrook Balingup Community Radio Inc.
Barry is also the owner of Boronia Farm Farm stay which has had organic certification since 1999.
He views the radio network and associated websites as part of a diverse economic ecosystem, giving a voice to
community and small business in Western Australia. Barry sees agri-tourism as a way to remake the connection
between farmers and eaters. He views tourist / community radio as regenerative media. In the same way as the
doyen of regen ag, Charles Massy, Author of “Call of the Reed Warbler” says regenerative agriculture is about
developing diverse self-organising biological ecosystems in the soil. Barry believes tourist / community radio is
about developing diverse self-organising economic ecosystems and ideas. The science of regenerative agriculture is a
community asset, akin to open-source software, unlike the science of industrial agriculture which is owned by a hand
full of corporations.
